ABOUT ERIC PAUL ERICKSON

A journalist, writer and researcher, Eric Paul Erickson is the author of the novels “Ascension” and “Virginia Dare” and other non-fiction books on historical topics. He hosts the show “Unlocking The Past,” where he interviews historians, archaeologists, and other scientists making discoveries that change our understanding of history. He is the author of the #1 bestselling book “How To Start A Podcast In Less Than A Day.”

As a journalist, Erickson worked for the Chicago Tribune’s storied City News Bureau and the Roswell Daily Record. His work has appeared in the Chicago Sun-Times, Yellow Scene, Reserve and National Guard Magazine, and various other newspapers, magazines and media outlets. He hosted the interview podcast “The Open Highway with Eric Erickson.”

Erickson wrote, directed, and co-starred in the feature film “Truth.” The film won the Best Feature award at the Women’s International Film Festival as well as bringing home Best Director honors for Erickson at the Silver State and Marina del Rey film festivals. Erickson also won the Best Actor Award and the Best Storytelling Award at the Laughlin International Film Festival. The film was an official selection for the Arctic Open Film Festival in Arkhangelsk, Russia where Erickson was a guest and presented the film. He has written, directed, and appeared in movies, television shows, and video games including “The Young and The Restless,” “Comedy Bang! Bang!,” “Dam Sharks,”Snake Outta Compton,” “Jurassic Galaxy,” “Arctic Apocalypse,” and “Life Is Strange 2.”
